Contact form

We collect your name, company (optional), email address and message, along with the page path, any utm_* or gclid campaign parameters in the referring page URL and any Google ad click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) in the address of the page you arrived on. We use these details to answer your enquiry and follow up about a possible project. The form also has an optional box for ad measurement, unticked by default.

Legal basis

We process your enquiry to take steps at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). For other enquiries, our legitimate interest in responding is the legal basis (art. 6(1)(f)).

Ad measurement

If you tick the box and arrived through a Google ad, we send Google Ads the click identifier from the ad link and the time of your enquiry, so Google Ads can count an enquiry from that ad. We never send your name, email address, company or message. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect what was already sent. Without the tick, nothing about the ad click is sent to Google. The click identifier is carried in the page address only; we use no cookie for it.

Who receives your details

Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the form function. Enquiries arrive in Slack. We use Google Workspace when we reply by email. If you tick the ad measurement box, Google Ads receives the ad click identifier and the time of your enquiry. These providers process the details needed for those services. Slack, Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Enquiries are deleted 12 months after the last contact unless they lead to a project.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of your data by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our own server in the Netherlands, without cookies. Plausible briefly processes your IP address and browser to compute a daily-rotating anonymous identifier for counting unique visitors; it does not store IP addresses. The web server in front of it also processes IP addresses to limit requests and block abuse. We receive only aggregate visit statistics.
